Summer Has Arrived!

First, I want to thank all you supporters for assisting with the successful spring launch of Furtive Retribution! Your “likes”, comments, and reposts of my event announcements on social media helped me gain unprecedented views, readers’ visits to Indigo stores and sales of all my titles over the past few months. I truly appreciate your support!

Now, you might ask, what am I doing for the summer months? The answer is: very little. For the first time since 1959, I plan to relax, read, exercise, and enjoy a couple months of leisure.

I recently realized that since I took that first summer job, working on a strawberry farm as a 12-year-old, every subsequent Canadian summer of my lifetime has been consumed by work -- either as a student, throughout my long corporate career, or while working as a consultant, writer, and author of one work of non-fiction and nine novels. So, I decided to take a break from it all and recharge.

For the next 2 months, I won’t be providing any updates on work in progress. Nor will I be asking for your support to help invite potential readers into Indigo stores to check out my books. However, I hope you will continue to enjoy stories from the Multima Saga that you haven’t yet had a chance to read.

As I prepare for a few weeks of relaxation in summer’s warmth, I encourage you to do the same. Take some time get away from it all. Read. Take care of your mind and body and enjoy all the summer has to offer!
