Round Two of Promotions Start This Week!

Earlier this year, I shared with you that I planned fewer promotional events in 2025, keeping adequate time to write #9, do some travel, assist my wife with a couple upcoming surgeries, and give a proper nod to advancing age. I plan to reduce in-store promotions by about one-third this year, with events taking place in three blocks.

Before I headed out to Asia, you may know that I held events in six Indigo and Chapters stores, and had satisfying success with each. This weekend, I'll start the next segment with 18 locations confirmed in the April - June window. 

Success in each store depends primarily on the number of readers I meet. If a store receives lots of visitors while I'm there, it reflects directly in the number of books sold. Conversely, if store traffic is lighter, I sell fewer books. Here's where I ask for your help.

I create a Facebook event for every store event. These appear on my profile each week. If you see an event posted, it would be wonderful if you can re-post that event on your Facebook feed and let your friends know about it!

Before each event, I also post notices on Facebook, Instagram, Threads and Bluesky. If these posts appear on your feeds, again I'll be grateful if you will take a moment to re-post my announcement. If you can also add a personal word encouraging your friends to visit, that would also be amazing!
